If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. By Purchasing from Curious Closet, you agree to abide by our policies and conditions. You also agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you buy from Curious Closet you are stating in doing so that you are at least the age of 18 or you have parental consent to purchase online. Curious Closet will not be responsible for any misuses or injuries received from any product sold. We are not responsible if you do not review your state laws about purchasing certain items such as weapons online. Your personal information we receive at time of transaction is used solely for shipping purposes and by means to contact you concerning your order. Please note that Curious Closet is not responsible for lost or damaged packages in the mail or shipping address errors provided by the customer. We use the shipping address provided by you on our store, if you would like your item shipped to another address please notify us via email. We will never sell your information. We do not advocate, endorse or guarantee the effects of any 'uses' posted with our items.
Shipping:
We use the fastest and cheapest shipping methods for our customers. We do not ship out of country due to the increased shipping cost to our customers. The cost of shipping covers shipment and in "some" cases tracking. Some items are listed with free shipping also. Combined shipping is available on large orders; we will offer the lowest shipping rate possible for your bulk order. Your personal information we receive at time of transaction is used solely for shipping purposes and to contact you concerning your order. If the shipping for an item is 0.00 then shipping is free.
Some items we receive from a supplier may take longer than normal to reach customers due to the item being shipped from other countries. Please be patient in the event that you order one of these particular items. Purchasing an item that ship from out of country may take up to fourteen days to receive. Our tracking is not always accurate in these types of transactions and we will do our best to keep you informed of where your order is. Please be patient with shipping times around the holidays we do at times have many orders and we fill them as fast as possible.
If you have a question about your order please contact us. If you need an order rushed please let us know, additional shipping cost will apply for rushed orders. We are not responsible if your order is lost or damaged in the mail nor are we responsible for shipping address errors provided by the customer. Please allow three days minimum for processing if tracking is provided we will then mail your confirmation number to you via email. Tracking is not always available for certain items. We will never sell your information. If you pay with a money order your purchase will not be shipped until payment clears. Orders under $20.00 we will more than likely not provide tracking numbers for please be aware of this before purchase.
Ordering:
Orders are shipped as soon as possible but please allow a three day minimum for processing.
Orders are shipped to the addresses provided by customers at checkout; we are not responsible if there is an error in the address you provide us with. The address we will ship your package to be the one you provide on your ecrater account; please make sure it is correct. If you do not specify a color, size or style on items given the option, such as clothing and shoes, our staff will choose item specifications. Any item chosen by our staff is non-refundable and non-returnable.
Any item not paid for within the end of the day of your order and we have no received any contact from you will be cancelled.
If you order an item that is out of stock we will notify you and return your purchase price asap.
Returns and Refunds:
By Purchasing from Curious Closet, you agree to abide by our policies and conditions.
Our return policy includes either refund or store credit.
The terms for refund are as followed, you must contact us within three days of receiving your shipment.
All of our shipments are sent with tracking if specified. Please note that Curious Closet is not responsible for lost or damaged packages in the mail nor are we responsible for shipping address errors provided by the customer. If you are buying clothing or shoes please specify the sizes and colors needed when purchased. We do not offer a refund on items which when ordered include the wrong size, color, or style unless it is our fault. The customer must return the item to Curious Closet in the same condition as received. No refunds will be issued for lingerie, swimwear or undergarments. All of our products unless otherwise specified are brand new and likewise in new condition. When returning an item please contact us via email at curious_closet@yahoo.com. In your email please specify the reason for returning the item and valid contact information. We will reply to you with instructions and the address to ship the returned item to. We cannot accept return goods that have been damaged, soiled or that was not the original item you purchased. Any item that is not ours will be returned as freight collect. Refunds, if requested and agreed to, will be issued for the purchase price excluding shipping & handling. If you purchase a "one size fits most or all" garment we are not responsible if it does not fit and it will only be covered by our return policy if it returned in the same condition as received,undamaged,unsoiled with original packaging. We are very concerned with the satisfaction of our customers and are dedicated to providing quality items at affordable prices. If you are unsatisfied for any reason please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to fix the problem. Your personal information we receive during your checkout is used solely by Curious Closet for orders and shipping, we will never sell any of your information. We are not responsible if you do not review your state laws about purchasing certain items such as weapons online. Your refund will be returned to you the same way we received payment for your order. We do not take personal checks, so please do not ask for a refund by check. Large orders/bulk orders are non-returnable nor refundable due to return shipping costs that will be the customer’s responsibility to pay. We try to save our customers as much money as possible. When buying large bulk orders please be aware of what you are buying and ask questions if you need more information concerning bulk orders of a certain item. Please be aware of this before purchasing. We are not responsible for any fees taken for paying via PayPal; this is cost for using PayPal as a payment method. Any shipping cost for returned items are not the responsibility of Curious Closet unless specified. If you cancel a credit charge on your order after it is shipped (even if you have not received the order) you are responsible to return the item to the address specified by Curious Closet otherwise it will be treated as a theft following legal action. If you order from us charge or use PayPal then dispute the order or cancel the credit charge you will be blacklisted from our store and sister stores. If you do this in intent to keep our products without paying you will be subject to criminal prosecution which we will pursue. Please keep in mind that when making a return that if you are to cancel your credit transaction prior or during the return process under false and or fraudulent claims that you could be charged under Federal law (15 U.S.C. § 1643). Cancelling an item once it has shipped and expecting a refund at that moment is not reasonable and is not agreeable when purchasing from our store. Until our item is returned your refund will not be. Filing a dispute even if example Paypal goes through with it is still investigated by a customers credit company and/or bank. In this case Curious Closet will file a claim on our behalf with a customers financial instituion in order to regain our earnings or item.
Payment Options:
Currently we accept Paypal and Stripe. We do not accept personal checks due to fraud. We are not using Google Checkout at the moment due to the amount of problems it has caused. Also Google Checkout does not protect the seller from buyer fraud.
Holidays:
When ordering for a holiday such as Christmas please be aware of shipping times on items. From the beginning of December until the New year we will not process refunds or returns on any items due to the high volume of orders and the high amount of postal congestion. Please be aware of these terms before purchasing. Holiday shopping is best done sooner than later due to shipping times and postal congestion. Please order as early as possible and if you need an item expediated please let us know and ask if the option is available on an item before purchasing.
Out of Stock:
Our items are in stock at the time of their listings on our store, if for some reason an item you have purchased becomes out of stock/back ordered we will notify you by email. Usually our products are updated to indicate availability. In the case an item is exhausted we will contact you with the time it will take to receive your order. If you are unsatisfied with the amount of time given we will refund your payment, offer an alternate item or offer you store credit.
Sizes:
All our sizes are in US unless otherwise specified. If you purchase a "one size fits most or all" garment we are not responsible if it does not fit, please read our returns and refunds section. Each listing should contain information as well as sizing for that particular item. If there is specific question you would like answered please contact us.
Out of Country Items:
We do have items that ship from other countries such as China. We try to keep this information available on our listings but we are only human and errors happen. If an item you order is an out of country item we will make you aware of this before processing your order and allow you the option to either proceed with your order or cancel as well as inform you of the estimated time you may expect to receive your item.
Used Items:
Curious Closet also sells used items. Used items are sold AS IS and are not covered by our return policy. A used item will have an honest description of any damages and the condition an item is in so please read before buying. Contact us if you have any questions about one of our used items that we sell.
Collectibles (Knives, Daggers,Swords,Zippos,Etc):
Curious Closet will not be liable for the misuse or any injury received if you purchase any item, especially our collectible weapons or Zippos. In purchasing any of these items you are verifying you are of the age of 18 or (21) depending on your state and it is legal to purchase in your state. Check your state laws. We are not responsible if you do not review your state laws about purchasing certain items such as weapons or Zippos online.
Questions:
When sending us questions via email please do it politely. We work very hard to correct any problems that may occur and expect to be addressed as we will address you. We will right any wrong if given the chance and at times our mailbox is overwhelmed so please be patient as we will respond to you as soon as possible. Please allow us to correct a problem before it escalates.
Scammers:
If it is discovered you have placed an order with a false PayPal account or another other fake type of payment in an attempt to receive goods without paying for them legal action will be pursued.
Feedback:
When leaving feedback please allow us to fix a problem before leaving any negative feedback. We work very hard and will do our very best to solve any situation concerning our customers satisfaction. In the event you have a positive comment to leave please do so we appreciate hearing about customer satisfaction. Any negative feedback that proves false or misleading will be investigated.
